For my brides that don’t want to play by the rules, break them by not wearing your typical white dress.  Chrissy Wai-Ching is the designer behind this line.

Don’t be afraid of playing with color. If you’re still a little worried it’ll be too much, skip the jewelry.. let the dress make the statement.

These are dresses that you will want to keep and pass down. Chrissy hand dyes all of her dresses, and every one of them is custom made to the brides measurements as well as letting the bride custom pick the colors she envisions.  Every bride wants that wow factor the first time everyone sees her.. well, here it is..

Be prepared to get all the “oohs” and “ahhhs” you could have ever imagined!

It’s time to go shopping for that wedding that you’re cordially invited to this fall!

Tired of wearing your same lil black dress to weddings? Here’s a way to keep with the fall 2011 trends, while not out-shining the bride and still look fab. Wideleg jumpsuits have that classy, yet fashion forward look about them that ANY body type can pull off! (yes, even if you’re short.. you’ll just have to wear heels, and really, how bad is that!) This outfit is one of my fav’s that you could wear more than just to a wedding. Dress it down for a casual happy hour with co-workers, or dress it up for that fancy cocktail party that you’re invited too. After all, who says you have to wear a dress to a cocktail party!

If the wide leg jumpsuit isn’t for you,  and really enjoy wearing a dress to special occasions, try stepping out of your comfort zone. Crocheted dresses have been huge this year, and will continue on into the later seasons. Pair a simple, crocheted ivory dress, with black tights, and a pair of camel color heels.. the chunkier the heel, the better for fall!  You’ll stand out just enough to turn some heads and make you feel like you just got your groove back. This is a great option to keep in your closet and bring out with a pair of gladiator sandals, and all the turquoise jewelry you have for the summer next year..when it’s back to some fun in the sun!

If you just can’t see yourself stepping out of your box and loving your lil black dress, stand out in the crowd with some bold jewelry choices with bold colors. The fall fashion colors that are hitting all major runways are royal blue and mustard. No matter what you  choose, make sure you’re not settling, and that you really will get good wear out of your buy.  It makes those more expensive pieces a little bit easier to purchase!
