Guys…this wedding is a month away!! We are so excited we can hardly stand it. It has been such an amazing experience being a part of this. From the very beginning brainstorming meeting with Brandi and Kristen where this idea was birthed right up to the morning we got to spend with this super fun couple when we shot their engagement photos. I really hope you have fallen in love with them through this process as much as we have! We love these photos because they really do portray the love they have for each other. the genuineness of their personalities. and the fun, quirky spirit of their relationship. Let’s not forget about the super cute styling by none other than Brandi Dunagan with Country Sugar. Here are a few of our faves!

We asked Annie to let us take a peek inside her mind.  We have absolutely fallen in love with Annie and Tyler through the Entwined planning process and are delighted to have them as our winners. So without any more gab…here’s a little something from Annie!

The past 30 days (but hey, who’s counting?) since Tyler and I found out that we won Entwined 2012 have been like having 30 consecutive Christmas mornings when you are 6 years old and the sun first peeks through your blinds at dawn.  I wake up, throw the covers off of me, and that exhilarating feeling that is hard to describe in words sinks into my core and pretty much resides there the whole day. 

It’s a mixture of emotions – it’s excitement, gratitude, disbelief, and many more all mixed into one.  It’s realizing that we have been blessed with a once-in-a-lifetime experience we will cherish for the rest of our lives. 

It’s thankfulness to all of those who selflessly supported us the whole way through and to the amazing vendors donating their incredible talents and services. 

It’s a feeling inside that things can happen to you that you never dreamed would happen in a million years. 

It’s a feeling that I get to marry the man of my dreams in the wedding of our dreams together and that our loved ones, families, friends, old friends, new friends, friends of friends, and even perfect strangers helped make that a reality!  It’s not just “winning a dream wedding”. 

It’s a feeling of endless love and community support.  It’s an irreplaceable feeling, and I want to share our experiences in this whole process with each of you.

It would be hard to capture everything I want to say today to each of you in a short entry, but at least it’s a start!  You see, it bothered me today when I realized it is December 15 and that means a whole 30 days have already passed by – that’s 30 days of the 136 total days (it’s leap year to those of you checking my math!) that we are blessed with to plan this amazing wedding with these amazing vendors!  I clearly remember the day we clicked the “submit” button for our contest entry.  We never in a million years dreamed we would become finalists (would you?), let alone come out winning (would you??)……or to finish off with nearly 38% of the total votes (would you???)!!!!  In the end, the hard work all worth it and now the fun part has begun! 

So, I will end it here for today.  My next blog post will be a little more focused on one specific aspect, or fun wedding planning story, or awesome vendor, or creative idea – but together, my blog posts will hopefully paint a montage of highlights of the {E}’s of Entwined 2012 through my Eyes – the Experiences, Emotions, Excitement, and Endless Efforts of Everyone {E}nvolved – Everything Entwined!

This helps during the planning process and helps me to define how your event will be seen by others, your guests.

This 50th birthday celebration was centered around pink as the birthday girl’s favorite color and as you can see it matched her vivacious personality. This framed quote by Audrey Hepburn reminded me of the birthday girl and kept me focused on the big picture. It became our centerpiece of the evening.
